Some products in this line can add fullness to lips, while providing natural-looking results with just one treatment. Restylane treatment is made up of hyaluronic acid gel. How Restylane Treatment Works
It works immediately and adds volume to smooth away wrinkles. Restylane® is formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, and eventually breaks down naturally. This treatment can not be used by anyone with an allergy to lidocaine.
After Restylane® Treatment
Side effects are typically mild and usually last less than 7 days depending on the injection site. In nasolabial folds side effects last less than 7 days, and less than 14-18 days in the lips. Swelling is more likely in patients under 36 years, and bruising may be more likely in patients over 35 years.
How Long Does Restylane® Last?
It may last 6 to 12 months. The duration truly depends on the treated facial area, injection technique, and the rate in which a patient’s tissues break down prior.
